Qualifying times are hot off the press:

- 2) Jonnier - 5:21.86
- 3) Pugin - 5:23.78
- 4) Tracy - 5:24.35
- 5) Ragot - 5:26.40
Tracy was a second up at the split, but lost 5 seconds somewhere in the mid-section of the track.
Melissa Buhl had the second-fastest top split, but crashed out in the middle, losing 20 seconds.
Storming result for young GB rider Manon Carpenter - qualified in 8th with 5:38.28.
Buchar and Jonnier tied winners of the speed trap (56.675kph).
